 A second objective is to understand the new edition 2.0 requirement that ‘every supplier providing products or services SHALL have a Functional Safety Management system’ according to the normative requirements (5.2.5.2 – IEC61511:2016 part 1)

Course objectives

  • IEC61511 Ed. 2.0 short overview using the lifecycle model with emphasis what has changed and what you SHALL do in able to comply
  • Functional Safety Management requirements:
    • Persons, Departments & Organisations responsibilities and competencies, how to define, measure and document
    • Safety Planning in relation to the life cycle activities responsible for
    • How to implement and monitor performance of engineer duties in relation to the life cycle of the IEC61511
    • FSA-Functional Safety Assessment, when-how and by whom to be done
    • Importance of independency between people doing the work and Senior competent people performing the assessments
    • Required frequent Functional Safety Audits importance
    • SIS Configuration management, how to start and record
  • Conformance requirements to the IEC61511-1:2016

  • Registration is valid only upon receipt of registration form and full payment at least 4 weeks before the course starts or at the time of booking after this time.
  • In the event of cancellation by the participant within 2 weeks of the course start date, no refund is offered but the participant may attend the same course topic at any alternative location/venue organised by tinovc.com within 1 year at no extra cost.
